in South Africa

"Simon and I"
"Simon and I" recounts the lives of two giants in the
South African gay and lesbian liberation movement, Simon Nkoli and
the filmmaker herself, Bev Ditsie.
Special guest speaker: Tim Costello of the slum doctor program
The slum doctor program is a non-profit organization dedicated to
making basic health care, HIV treatment and HIV education accessible
to the very poor in Kenya by establishing free health clinics and
rural community pharmacies, and through the donation of needed medical
supplies.
Free
event organized as a Service Learning project by students from Women's
Studies 211 class.
