21st is a national "Roll Your Own Blackout" protest
of the current energy policy. Therefore, our quarterly meeting
will be an electricity-free celebration of conservation. We will
provide non-electric lamps and some candles. We encourage you
to celebrate the longest day of the year in a good cause with
a great group.!!!

coal strike through the film 'Harlan County.' -- followed by a
paneldiscussion about the history of a local coal mine and a Bellingham
miners strike in the 1920's.
